FireNumber ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. The Service is intended for users 18 and older; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Authenticate your identity via Google OAuth
• Compute and display financial projections based on your inputs
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized analytics
• Comply with legal obligations

Your data is stored in a secured database. We use industry-standard measures to protect your information.

We use the following third parties to operate the Service:

• Google OAuth — for authentication. To sign you in, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google, and store the resulting OAuth tokens (access token, refresh token) in our database to maintain your session. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Upstage AI — to power the AI chat feature. When you send a message in the AI chat, your scenario data — including account names, balances, income and expense items, and multi-decade projection results — is transmitted to Upstage to generate a response. This data is not sent to Upstage at any other time. Per Upstage's Terms of Service (as of May 2026), Upstage does not use API input data for AI model training, and does not retain it beyond what is operationally necessary to fulfil the request. Upstage handles this data under its own policies; verify the current terms at the link above. Upstage is headquartered in South Korea; by using the AI chat feature you consent to your scenario data being transferred to and processed in South Korea.
• Stripe — to process credit pack payments. When you make a purchase, Stripe collects your payment details (card number, billing address) directly and securely. We store only a Stripe customer identifier — we never see or store your full card details. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, use the feedback form within the app and include "account deletion" in your message. We will process your request within 30 days.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

In the event of a data breach that poses a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify affected users and report to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by PIPEDA. Notification will be sent to the email address associated with your account as soon as reasonably practicable.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. You can control cookie settings through your browser, but disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
